Goal Post Infrastructure Round 1

The aim of the program is to:

- Introduce new grounds & green space
- Maximise Carrying Capacity across the overall Queensland football facility network.
- Provide more opportunity for delivery of Programs & Competitions
- Advertise the game and the AFL experience

Clubs with new greenspaces, Schools and Councils based in Queensland can apply for funding.

It is important to engage with AFL Queensland in the development of your project to determine how your proposal aligns with the level of the club, standard of facility and AFL Queensland’s Facilities Plan 2020 – 2025 and Australian Football Infrastructure Plan- Towards 2030

Confirmed tenure on the land and consent from the landowner to install posts.

A full ground or training space, compatible with the AFL Preferred Facility Guidelines or modified competition requirements.

Inclusion in AFL programs or an integration with a local AFL Community club

Commitment to grow and support AFL opportunities into the future.
